INDIANAPOLIS -- Marsh Supermarkets based here has rebranded two stores in the Cincinnati region to Marsh Hometown Markets banner, which emphasizes fresh meats and produce and brings shoppers a Fresh Idea loyalty card.
The two units were formerly LoBill branded groceries. Besides the new banner, they feature a reconfigured layout, remodeled decor, and fresh paint, according to local press reports.
Marsh spokeswoman Connie Gardner was quoted as saying the chain's Fresh Idea loyalty card "brings more promotions, and daily, weekly and monthly discounts."
Marsh, an affiliate of the private investment firm Sun Capital Partners, has 69 Marsh supermarkets, 29 LoBill Foods stores, six O'Malia Food markets and 158 Village Pantry convenience stores in Indiana and western Ohio.
