TROY, Ohio -- Food equipment manufacturer Hobart yesterday unveiled a new Web site to support the specific needs of food retailers.
This customer-centered approach is part of Hobart's new brand messaging built around the vendor's tagline, "Proud Supporter of You," said Sarah Anti, v.p. of brand marketing for Hobart. "Our focus has always been on the end-user customer and this [Web site] communicates that. Their jobs are increasingly challenging as they manage greater complexity with their staffs, food safety issues like HACCP, and still meeting the high expectations of their consumers."
Hobartcorp.com's product and service lines are grouped into minisites according to the industry segment they serve, such as educational foodservice, chain restaurants, or food retailers. Organization of the site's pages was developed to simplify site navigation, and additional content will be added continuously as Hobart gains more feedback.
The new Hobartcorp.com offers segment options that include institutional food service, independent grocers, chain supermarkets, and specialty grocers. The supplier said the site's development was guided in large part by customers' suggestions.
