    Hannaford Bros. Benefits from Lawson/Enwisen Solution Combo

    SCARBOROUGH, Maine -The combination of Lawson Software and Enwisen to integrate on-demand work force communications applications into the Lawson Human Capital Management suite has proved beneficial to shared customer Hannaford Bros. Co. here.

    Now Enwisen's AnswerSource Knowledge Center, an integrated suite of HR knowledge and decision support applications that also encompasses AnswerSource Total Rewards and AnswerSource Onboarding, is being offered to other new and existing Lawson customers.

    Lawson spokesman Joe Thornton told Progressive Grocer that while the official partnership was "just finalized within the past couple of weeks," experiences like those of Hannaford, whose project using both companies' solutions has been up and running for two or three months, helped validate Lawson and Enwisen's decision to collaborate going forward.

    The personalization capability of AnswerSource lets employees see only the information that's relevant to them. When used in context with Lawson transactions, this allows such situations as an employee seeing only the options under his or her eligibility when viewing and comparing health plans during the enrollment process.

    "As part of delivering HR programs and services, we set out to build a dynamic, scalable employee portal that would help associates be informed and effective when completing the entire range of hire-to-retire work/life events," said Hannaford manager of learning Chad Flynn in a statement. "The integration of Lawson Human Capital Management and Enwisen's AnswerSource Knowledge Center has allowed us to build a world-class portal that is helping Hannaford increase its use of self-service solutions, successfully onboard new hires, help associates become more informed benefits consumers, increase line manager effectiveness, and reduce calls to HR."

"Now, by adding Enwisen's communications and decision support to our Human Capital Management suite, we help our customers maximize the value of their Lawson investments and enhance the suite with innovations such as the Enwisen onboarding application."

    Among Lawson's solutions are Enterprise Performance Management, Supply Chain Management, Enterprise Resource Planning, Customer Relationship Management, Manufacturing Resource Planning, Enterprise Asset Management, and industry-tailored applications.
