    Brookshire Grocery Co. to Integrate E-commerce, Internet Solutions Taps MyWebGrocer for E-commerce

    TYLER, Texas -- Regional grocer Brookshire Grocery Co. here said it plans to fully integrate its Web services, tapping Burlington, Vt.-based MyWebGrocer to provide Web site design and hosting, an interactive weekly circular, e-mail, online grocery shopping, online pharmacy, electronic shopping lists, and other features.

    TYLER, Texas -- Regional grocer Brookshire Grocery Co. here said it plans to fully integrate its Web services, tapping Burlington, Vt.-based MyWebGrocer to provide Web site design and hosting, an interactive weekly circular, e-mail, online grocery shopping, online pharmacy, electronic shopping lists, and other features.

    "Our partnership with MyWebGrocer allows Brookshire to fully integrate all our Web services so our consumers will have a seamless and intuitive online experience," said Rebecca Sanders, v.p. of marketing for Brookshire's, in a statement. "Outsourcing these functions allows us to get the best possible technology and functionality to our consumers in the quickest timeframe possible."

    Brookshire Grocery Co. is a privately-owned grocery chain operating over 150 stores in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi under multiple banners, including Brookshire's, Super 1 Foods and Ole Foods.

    MyWebGrocer is a privately held company providing e-commerce and Internet marketing solutions to grocery retailers nationwide.
