SCHAUMBURG, Ill. -- SPINS, Inc., a marketing information research firm for the natural and organic products industry, yesterday appointed Steven Hankin, a former Stop & Shop executive, to e.v.p. with the charge of transforming the company to a broad based, solution-focused organization.
In this newly created role, Hankin will oversee SPINS' strategic accounts, business insights, client services, retail services, business development, and product library departments.

Hankin has nearly 30 years of experience in the food retail and consumer packaged goods industries. He has spent the greater part of his career with Ahold USA, a leading multinational supermarket and foodservice operator. Most recently, he served as v.p. of analytical support for Stop & Shop Supermarket Co., Inc.
