A call replaced to the company on Friday for more details was not immediately returned.

A Central Market spokeswoman was quoted as saying that the company believed this was an isolated incident. HEB said it is working closely with Izze Beverage Co.'s owner, PepsiCo, and the local distributor to investigate the incident.

It was not known on Friday whether HEB had put the products back on shelves.
