LONDON, K.Y. -- Regional wholesaler Laurel Grocery said it plans to offer retailer customers an in-store radio network to deliver marketing messages to shoppers using a medium it expects will provide more impact than traditional mass media.
The wholesaler is working with Muzak and RBS Media Group to introduce its in-store radio network to enable brands to promote their products once an hour, 24/7, in four week cycles.
Laurel Grocery serves more than 420 retailers in Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, Ohio, Indiana, and West Virginia.
