PHOENIX, Ariz. - Kroger-owned Fry's Marketplace yesterday hired a marketing firm to manage all in-store marketing events for its Fry's Food & Drug Stores beginning in January.
Fry's will work with The Sunflower Group, a provider of in-store marketing services and consumer promotions that creates, staffs, and evaluates experiential events.
"[This] partnership will take our in-store marketing program to the next level in meeting and exceeding our customer's needs," said Sharon Lantz, Fry's director of bakery/deli. "In-store marketing can and should be something that separates us from our competition by providing our customers with a shopping experience that makes them want to return".
Sunflower has been the exclusive in-store marketing partner for Ralphs, another Kroger-owned supermarket chain, since November, 2005.
