WICHITA, Kan. -- Cargill, based here, has launched a new Web site for its Excel Fresh Meats brand to provide customers with more information about the Excel brand and its promise of striving to provide a "Genuinely Better" experience.
The Web site, ExcelFreshMeats.com, contains downloadable documents for retail and foodservice customers, detailed product descriptions for beef and pork, and a newsroom with the latest product news from Cargill.
The new site also has increased usability, as it is HTML-based and does not contain Flash applications so that visitors with dialup or limited Internet access can view the full site. The site is also easier to navigate for people with disabilities.
"We found that customers and potential customers want more information about the Excel brand available to them online," said Misty High, group brand manager, Excel Fresh Meats. "So we developed the new www.ExcelFreshMeats.com site to help meet that need."
The new site also links to a sister site that explains how Cargill Meat Solutions strives to be "Genuinely Better" every day through its heritage, people, products, processes, and possibilities.
Excel Fresh Meats is a brand of beef and pork products that Cargill Meat Solutions Corp. markets to its worldwide customer base of retail and foodservice customers. The Excel brand represents 85 percent of Cargill Meat Solutions' beef and pork offerings.
