Hannaford collaborated with SkillSoft to create an online learning program for leadership development that includes:

"We're pleased with the learning vehicles that SkillSoft has provided," said Hannaford v.p. of organizational development and learning Michelle Thorpe Hayes in a statement. "We now have a way to further develop our team members and engage them in growth opportunities."
Hannaford said 175 store and department managers from a variety of backgrounds took part in the pilot. This first group of learners favorably rated the program's content, usability, and applicability to their job responsibilities.
Based on the success of the first phase of the program, Hannaford said it is rolling out the next phase to 160 associate relations managers. This phase will feature leadership development and communication skills.
"Hannaford is known for its strong leadership and positive work environment," noted SkillSoft c.e.o. Jerry Nine. "By partnering with SkillSoft, Hannaford can offer its employees richer and more flexible and rewarding educational opportunities."
