NEW YORK - Loeb Partners, a hedge fund based here, has disclosed that it's purchased a 5.07 percent stake in Minneapolis-based wholesaler Nash Finch Co., according to filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Loeb Partners and affiliated funds have gained around 13 million shares since August, the filing said.

In late 2004 Loeb Partners purchased a stake in Spartan Stores and then later put pressure on the company to sell itself.
