CORAL GABLES, Fla. -- Del Monte Fresh Produce N.A., Inc. here is partnering with Disney to promote the upcoming DVD release of "Leroy & Stitch," the newest adventure from the original "Lilo & Stitch" series.
"We are very excited about this promotional tie-in with Disney, because it promotes the release of the DVD in a fun way that encourages kids to eat more healthy fruits and, in this case, our delicious Del Monte Gold Extra Sweet Pineapple," said Matt Smith, Del Monte Fresh's v.p. of marketing.
During the promotion, consumers will be able to receive a $3 rebate off the "Leroy & Stitch" DVD with the purchase of a Del Monte Gold Extra Sweet Pineapple and a "Leroy & Stitch" DVD. The rebate offer will be featured in all the tags of Del Monte Gold Extra Sweet Pineapples, available at retail stores beginning today through Aug. 31. The DVD release is set for June 27, 2006.
