LAKELAND, Fla. -- Publix Super Markets here will be presenting "Breast Cancer Awareness Day" with the Atlanta Braves on Mother's Day, May 14, to honor those who have courageously battled breast cancer. Breast cancer survivors will receive a free lower-level ticket, and their friends and family can purchase tickets for $10.
Survivors will also receive a ticket for admission to a pre-game hospitality reception, and a Braves' Breast Cancer Awareness T-shirt. Before the Braves take on the Washington Nationals, the breast cancer survivors, along with their friends and families, will participate in a "Walk in the Park," a pre-game parade around the field, and be honored in an on field ceremony.
The Atlanta Braves 50/50 raffle fundraiser on Breast Cancer Awareness Day will benefit the Atlanta 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer, supporting research, education, advocacy, and free services for cancer patients and their families throughout Metro Atlanta. The Shades of Pink Breast Cancer Mass Choir will sing the National Anthem.
