CERRITOS, Calif. -- Retail marketing services firm Mass Connections here is boosting its retail expertise with the addition of Douglas Pursley, a 15-year marketing veteran with Wal-Mart, Inc., who has joined the company as v.p., sales.
Pursley most recently served as director of product marketing for Sam's Club. In this capacity he oversaw the day-to-day operations of one of the largest product-marketing programs in the country.
Pursley began his career with Sam's Club in its marketing department, opening new stores in Minnesota. He continued to advance within the organization, accepting positions as regional sales manager and divisional sales manager.
Prior to working with Sam's Club, Pursley worked for Wal-Mart.com as store integration manager.
As v.p. for Mass Connections Pursley will play an instrumental role in its overall sales operations. He will drive marketing campaigns for Mass Connections' many respected retailers and CPGs.
