HARRISBURG, Pa. -- The National Frozen & Refrigerated Foods Association's (NFRA) fifth annual ice cream & novelties promotion is ready to hit the frozen aisles this June and July.
NFRA has partnered with 26 key ice cream and novelties brands to provide retailers with Family Freezer Pleasers promotional opportunities to boost category sales as summer temperatures begin to soar. High-profile characters from the movie "Ice Age The Meltdown" will be joining in on the fun, delivering added excitement in promoting ice cream and novelties to consumers at store level.
Featured this year is a Family Freezer Pleasers retail display contest, with retailers from across the country competing for Golden and Silver Penguin Awards. Also featured is a consumer $50,000 Online Instant Win Game, which will reside on NFRA’s consumer Web site, www.BringUsToYourTable.com.
