SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- Grocers seeking guidance for improving their pharmacy operations--and who isn't?--might find some fresh help in the form of a new consulting service from pharmacy management solution provider QS/1, based here.
The company is tapping into its 27-year history of providing products and services to pharmacies to create QS/1 Consulting Services, a new service aimed at helping businesses evaluate and establish new pharmacy locations and operations or improve the profitability of existing pharmacies.
Among the services offered by QS/1's new division are site analyses to evaluate potential customer traffic and probable competition, store layouts, configurations, and guidance to support government regulations, as well as identifying the most appropriate pharmacists, technicians, drug wholesalers, and other necessary pharmacy suppliers.
A priority for the group, said Rich Muller, QS/1 chain sales manager, "will be targeting grocery store chains without pharmacies to offer QS/1's Consulting Service."
