STILLWATER, Minn. -- Cub Foods East and Mass Connections, a leader in retail marketing services, scored their own Super Bowl victory over the weekend with a "Football Madness" in-store sampling program and event coordination.
For the event, Mass Connections deployed some 400 event personnel to Cub stores in Illinois and Wisconsin to promote a host of delicious game day products, which allowed thousands of shoppers to enjoy a variety of products throughout the important sports weekend.
Event personnel provided consumers a tasting of football favorite foods from participating brands including: Campbell's; Gatorade & Quaker; Dannon; Crystal Farms; Taco Bell; Nabisco; KC Masterpiece BBQ Sauce; Kraft; and "Our Certified" 96% Lean Ground Beef & Texas Two Step Chili Mix.
Mass Connections furthered encouraging football fans to stock-up for the game by presenting an interactive CD to shoppers who purchased three or more participating items. Each CD contained challenging football trivia, end zone celebration dances, as well as linking the fans to Cub Foods website for more store and product information. The interactive CD is an entertaining addition to the great products sampled by Cub Foods customers during "Football Madness" weekend.
