    Albertson Foundation Donates $250,000 to Soldiers' Families

    BOISE, Idaho -- This week the J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Foundation donated at check for $250,000 to the Idaho Guard and Reserve Family Support Fund at a ceremony at Gowen Field here, according to a report on a local television station's Web site.

    BOISE, Idaho -- This week the J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Foundation donated at check for $250,000 to the Idaho Guard and Reserve Family Support Fund at a ceremony at Gowen Field here, according to a report on a local television station's Web site.

    The fund, established a year ago, assists Idaho Guard members and their families with urgent financial needs. Since its creation, over $100,000 has been distributed from the fund to more than 100 needy families.

    "With the holiday season upon us we hope this gift will inspire others to consider making a contribution because there is a tremendous need out there," Albertson c.e.o. Tom Wilford told KTVB-Idaho's NewsChannel 7, the NBC affiliate in Boise.
