WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Raley's, c.o.o., Dave D'Arezzo, c.o.o., resigned his post at the company last week. Consequently, the regional independent retailer's president and c.e.o., Bill Coyne, has added the role of acting c.o.o. to his duties.
A company official told Progressive Grocer the chain's operations won't skip a bit. "There is a solid plan to ensure that the company presses forward with its plans," said Nicole Townsend, Raley's spokesperson. "Our company ownership and leadership remain committed to business strategies and initiatives. And, our colleagues in the stores are committed to providing our customers with outstanding service and quality products. We have full confidence that we will press forward and continue to be a strong leader in the marketplace."
Raley's operates 137 stores under the Raley's, Bel Air, Nob Hill Foods, and Food Source banners in California, Nevada, and New Mexico.
