    Outstanding Salesmanship Recognized at Fresh Summit

    NEWARK, Del. -- The four top exhibitions at the Produce Marketing Association's (PMA) Fresh Summit International Convention and Exposition in Atlanta last month have received "Best of Show" for outstanding salesmanship and presentation excellence.

    NEWARK, Del. -- The four top exhibitions at the Produce Marketing Association's (PMA) Fresh Summit International Convention and Exposition in Atlanta last month have received "Best of Show" for outstanding salesmanship and presentation excellence.

    Vernon, Calif.-based PWP Industries and Brooklyn Park, Minn.-based Carlson AirFlo Merchandising Systems were first- and second-place winners respectively, in the island booth category, while Bowling Green, Ohio-based Greenline Foods, and Pembroke Pines, Fla.-based Holex Flower placed first and second, respectively, in the in-line booth category.

    Booths were judged by a team of industry professionals on a number of criteria, including company/brand identity, exhibit visual appeal and effectiveness, and exhibit personnel.

    First-place winners received a complimentary full registration to next year's Fresh Summit in San Diego, recognition during the show, and a plaque. Second-place winners received recognition on PMA's Web site, a seat at a VIP table during the closing general session, and one complimentary daily pass for 2006 Fresh Summit.

    PMA's next Fresh Summit Expo Contest will be held at the event scheduled for Oct. 20 to Oct. 24, 2006 in San Diego, Calif.
