COLTON, Calif. -- Regional grocery chain Stater Bros. Markets will help feed more than 60,000 people this Thanksgiving through its partnerships with local charities.
Leading up to the holiday, Stater Bros. has been assisting qualified organizations that feed the hungry by making substantial contributions towards the purchase of turkeys. These organizations are located throughout the communities served by Stater Bros., and include San Bernardino County, Riverside County, Los Angeles County, Orange County, San Diego County, and Kern County.
"Stater Bros. believes strongly in giving back to the communities we serve because we just don't do business in a community, we are part of the community," said Jack H. Brown, chairman and c.e.o. of Stater Bros. Markets. "We are glad to be able to assist so that those in need will have a more joyous Thanksgiving."
Each year, Stater Bros. contributes goods and services to support a wide range of local charities, educational organizations, and community programs.
