NATICK, Mass. -- BJ's Wholesale Club here has struck an agreement to have Verizon Wireless' store-within-a-store concept in more than 128 of the retailer's locations. Said BJ's s.v.p. and director of sales operations Ken Hayes in a statement: "Our members will benefit greatly because now they can shop our clubs to fulfill their household needs and have the convenience of an industry-leading, on-site wireless store."
"This relationship is important to Verizon Wireless' effort to meet our customers where they shop," noted Verizon v.p.-national distribution John Colaiuti. "The customers walking into BJ's are the same people who want Verizon Wireless service. They place a premium on quality, service, and value. By placing Verizon Wireless employees in the BJ's locations, customers also get added convenience and assistance from the best wireless sales people in the industry."

Verizon Wireless will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the BJ's kiosks, including hiring, inventory, displays, and any interior or exterior signage.
