    Tesco Launches Online Photo Center

    LONDON, United Kingdom -- Leading retailer Tesco PLC here Friday launched yet another new service to make its shoppers' lives easier: an online photograph printing service, in partnership with Pixology plc, a London-based specialist in software and networks for digital photography.

    LONDON, United Kingdom -- Leading retailer Tesco PLC here Friday launched yet another new service to make its shoppers' lives easier: an online photograph printing service, in partnership with Pixology plc, a London-based specialist in software and networks for digital photography.

    Hosted by Pixology, the fully featured Online Photo Center, at www.Tescophoto.com, will be customized in line with Tesco's in-store branding and its digital self-serve photo kiosks, which are also powered by Pixology's software.

    "With the massive growth in digital camera sales and mobile camera phones, we wanted to offer our customers a complete imaging service," said Andrew Clarke, commercial operations manager for photo processing at Tesco. "The launch of Tescophoto.com will allow us to offer a full range of printing services to our customers at competitive prices. Our customers will now be able to get real photographs from their digital images from the comfort of their own home. The Online Photo service allows us to build a fully integrated Imaging service for the future."
