    C&S Promotes Merchandisers

    KEENE, N.H. -- C&S Wholesale Grocers here said yesterday it has promoted three executives in merchandising positions. Tracy Moore has been promoted to v.p., marketing, merchandising, and trade relations. Zena Tessier has been promoted to v.p. of merchandising. Dan Fudger has been promoted to senior director of merchandising and trade relations.

    KEENE, N.H. -- C&S Wholesale Grocers here said yesterday it has promoted three executives in merchandising positions. Tracy Moore has been promoted to v.p., marketing, merchandising, and trade relations. Zena Tessier has been promoted to v.p. of merchandising. Dan Fudger has been promoted to senior director of merchandising and trade relations.

    In her new role, Moore will be responsible for the development and implementation of the marketing and merchandising programs and initiatives for the C&S independent customers. She will also manage the New England investment inventory purchasing and will coordinate and maintain trade relations programs.

    "Tracy joined the C&S team in a buying role in 1992. She has been an instrumental leader in our growth, rapidly moving through key buying roles," said Bob Palmer, s.v.p. of merchandising, in a statement.

    As v.p. of merchandising, Tessier will manage the New England and Southeast non-perishable merchandising and investment inventory purchasing. She joined C&S in October of 1994 as a grocery buyer after 14 years in procurement and management roles with CVS and Imperial Distributors. Tessier was promoted to manager of grocery procurement in 1999, and director of merchandising in 2001. In 2003, she was promoted to senior director of merchandising.

    Fudger is now responsible for all corporate vendor initiatives, trade relations, and all merchandising programs. He will also play an active role in all vendor logistical programs in coordination with the C&S Supply Team and the vendor community. Prior to joining C&S, Dan spent eight years in management with J.C. Penney in the New England region. He joined C&S in 1998 in the role of crossroads coordinator. In 2003, he was promoted to director of trade relations.
