SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- Golub Corp./Price Chopper Supermarkets said Friday that it promoted Greg Zeh to the position of director of accounting systems.
Zeh's new role requires him to oversee the accounting operations of store audit, accounts receivable, and payroll. He will also administrate the financial services network and run the project accounting department for the chain. He reports directly to v.p. and corporate comptroller Carol Cillis.
An employee of Price Chopper since 1977, Zeh most recently served as manager of accounting systems. Before coming to the company, he worked for KeyCorp Management Co. and Urbach Kahn & Werlin PC, and was a deputy comptroller and director of IT for Capital District OTB.
The family-owned Golub Corp. owns and operates 110 Price Chopper grocery stores in New York, Vermont, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire. The company's more than 23,000 associates collectively own 55 percent of its privately held stock.
