    Mollie Stone's/eScrip Partnership Contributes $1.5 M to Schools

    MILL VALLEY, Calif. -- Regional Bay Area independent Mollie Stone's and Electronic Scrip Incorporated (ESI), contributed more than $1.5 million to schools and youth groups in the Bay Area since joining eScrip in November 1999.

    MILL VALLEY, Calif. -- Regional Bay Area independent Mollie Stone's and Electronic Scrip Incorporated (ESI), contributed more than $1.5 million to schools and youth groups in the Bay Area since joining eScrip in November 1999.

    Mollie Stone's co-founder, David Bennett, strongly believes it is important to give back to the community. "During these times of budget cuts and over-sized classrooms, it is important that everyone do what they can to support the education of youth in their community," he said. "This includes businesses. We enjoy doing our share and look forward to making a difference through our partnership with eScrip."

    San Mateo, Calif.-based eScrip is dedicated to establishing relationships between commerce and community to provide resources to organizations and projects that support children.

    Mollie Stone's is a locally owned, independent supermarket chain with stores in Sausalito, Greenbrae, San Francisco (Pacific Heights and Tower Market), Palo Alto, Burlingame, San Mateo, and San Bruno.
