    Mollie Stone's Markets Adds Host of Private Label Soups

    MILL VALLEY, Calif. -- Mollie Stone's Markets, an independent grocer with eight stores in Northern California, yesterday introduced a new line of private label gourmet soups available at all locations.

    MILL VALLEY, Calif. -- Mollie Stone's Markets, an independent grocer with eight stores in Northern California, yesterday introduced a new line of private label gourmet soups available at all locations.

    Branded, "The Best of Both Worlds," the line offers the following 11 flavors: Vegetarian Three Mushroom Bisque, Boston Clam Chowder, Broccoli with Stilton & Cheddar, Vegetarian Butternut Squash and Yogurt Curry Bisque, Chicken Basil
    Chili with Bean, Fully Loaded Chicken Noodle, Low Fat Golden Gate Red Chowder, Low Fat Hearty Steak & Bean Gumbo, Vegan Moroccan Lentil, Tomato Basil Bisque, and White Bean Spinach & Pancetta Minestrone.

    "Our new gourmet soups are part of our ongoing commitment to providing customers with convenient products of the highest quality," said David Bennett, co-owner of Mollie Stone's Markets. "With many delicious flavors to choose from, customers can take home a delicious meal that will taste as fresh as if they had made it themselves."

    The soups will be marketed as, "hot for now" or "cold for later," as they can be eaten immediately or stored in the refrigerator in 16 ounce containers. The soups joins the retailer's other private label products, including a new line of marinades introduced last month.
