MODESTO, Calif. -- Save Mart Supermarkets here plans to launch a Web-based platform for promotion allowance management to more effectively collaborate with its suppliers, lower process costs, and improve communications with trading partners.
The regional grocery chain, operating 123 stores in the western U.S., will employ a system produced TradePoint Solutions, that automates retail promotion workflow and replaces a paper-based process with a real-time business application.
"For Save Mart and our suppliers, TradePoint's promotion management system reduces errors and saves time," said Cecil Russell, v.p. of merchandising/marketing for Save Mart. "The new system will help drive ROI for us and our vendors."
