TORONTO -- Loblaw Cos., Ltd. will participate fundraising campaign starting next month, to help women deal with the appearance-related side effects of cancer and its treatment. The effort is in partnership with Canadian national cancer support program Look Good Feel Better.
From Sept. 3 to Oct. 1, shoppers who make a $2 contribution at any Refresh and Drugstore Pharmacy counters in the retailer's stores will receive a 22-milliliter tube of Look Good Feel Better branded opalescent sparkle lip gloss, available exclusively at Loblaw Cos. banners across Canada.
To raise additional funds, the campaign will also feature $2 sparkle paper cutouts to be signed by shoppers and displayed at Refresh and Drugstore Pharmacy counters. The aim of the initiative is to raise $150,000.
Among the Loblaw banners participating in the campaign are Atlantic SaveEasy, Atlantic Superstore, Dominion (in Newfoundland and Labrador), Extra Foods, Fortinos, Loblaws, Maxi (including Maxi and Cie), No Frills, Provigo, The Real Canadian Superstore, The Real Canadian Wholesale Club, Valu-Mart, Your Independent Grocer, and Zehrs.
