PITTSBURGH. -- Giant Eagle here has teamed up with Santa Ana, Calif.-based Dress For Success Cleaners (DFS), an operator of hundreds of dry cleaning and laundry locations exclusively in supermarkets across the country, as well as in Australia, for "Klothes For Kids," a community-based back-to-school clothes drive for needy children.
"Klothes For Kids" began Aug. 4 and will run through the end of the month at 82 Giant Eagle stores throughout western Pennsylvania and northeast Ohio that offer Dress For Success Cleaners in-store dry-cleaning services. During the drive, shoppers can either donate new clothes or "gently used" coats and sweaters that will be cleaned at no charge. All items will be contributed to area charities.

"We are proud to offer such a valuable program that will help children enter the upcoming school year with a heightened sense of confidence."
"Klothes For Kids is a great way for Dress For Success Cleaners, Giant Eagle, and the communities we mutually serve to work together to help deserving kids get off to a good start this school year," added Dress For Success Cleaners c.o.o. Bruce Stegmaier.
