    Tyson SVP Haefele Wins IDDBA President's Award

    SPRINGDALE, Ark. -- Ray Haefele, s.v.p. of Tyson Deli, Inc., received the President's Award at the International Dairy-Deli-Bakery Association's (IDDBA) annual meeting held in June in Minneapolis.

    SPRINGDALE, Ark. -- Ray Haefele, s.v.p. of Tyson Deli, Inc., received the President's Award at the International Dairy-Deli-Bakery Association's (IDDBA) annual meeting held in June in Minneapolis.

    Ray Burke, president of the IDDBA and president of the bakery/deli division for Rich Products Corp., presented Haefele with the award, which recognizes distinguished service or contribution to the industry and honors those who have provided support, encouragement, or a helping hand to the IDDBA.

    "Ray's professionalism, enthusiasm, and dedication to the deli industry have been constant and unwavering," said Carol Christison, IDDBA's executive director. "He is one of the great visionaries of our business. The deli industry and IDDBA are better because of him."

    Haefele has been active in the deli industry since 1984. His 21-year career has included positions with Continental Deli, a division of Wilson Foods, and Tyson Deli, Inc., a division of Tyson Foods, Inc. He has served on the IDDBA board of directors and committees for 15 years.
