TOLLESON, Ariz. -- Fry's Food & Drug, one of Cincinnati-based Kroger Co.'s Arizona banners, opened Tully's Coffee in-store concept in its Buckeye, Ariz. location.
Staffed by 12 Fry’s employees, the 500-square-foot "living-room-style" cafe features Seattle-based Tully's full line of espresso, drip, and blended drinks; gourmet soft ice cream, sandwiches, salads, juice, and cookies. It also features a leather couch and chairs, a big-screen television, a seated bar, and intimate tables.
Founded in 1992, Tully's Coffee Corp. is a specialty coffee retailer, wholesaler, and roaster. Its retail division operates specialty retail stores in Washington, Oregon, California, and Idaho. Tully's wholesale division distributes the company's coffees and related products through offices, foodservice outlets, and supermarkets throughout the Western United States. Currently more than 350 company-operated and -licensed Tully's retail locations serve Tully's coffees and complementary products.
