    New Retail Promotion Designed to Milk Dairy Sales

    WASHINGTON -- The Milk Processor Education Program (MilkPEP) here is continuing its popular "24/24 Milk Your Diet. Lose Weight!" campaign this year, with another health-conscious promotion available to supermarkets.

    WASHINGTON -- The Milk Processor Education Program (MilkPEP) here is continuing its popular "24/24 Milk Your Diet. Lose Weight!" campaign this year, with another health-conscious promotion available to supermarkets.

    Throughout the month of May, MilkPEP's "Get the Curves You Want" promotion will reward consumers with a free two-week membership to Curves, the national chain of 7,000 women-focused fitness centers, when they redeem two milk bottle caps.

    Additionally, consumers can enter milk UPCs online for the chance to win one of 24 two-year memberships to the gyms.

    The group is encouraging retailers to participate by contacting their milk processor, calling the milk hotline at 1-800-945-MILK (6455), or visiting www.milkdelivers.org.

    MilkPEP is funded by the nation's milk processors. The International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) is contracted by MilkPEP to administer processor-funded programming.
