    National Confectioners Association Collaborates with ECRM

    VIENNA, Va. --The National Confectioners Association here and Efficient Collaborative Retail Marketing (ECRM) are jointly holding the EPPS Candy Marketplace, May 15 -- 18 in Scottsdale, Ariz., which will bring buyers and sellers together to focus on the Easter and Valentine's Day selling opportunities.

    VIENNA, Va. --The National Confectioners Association here and Efficient Collaborative Retail Marketing (ECRM) are jointly holding the EPPS Candy Marketplace, May 15 -- 18 in Scottsdale, Ariz., which will bring buyers and sellers together to focus on the Easter and Valentine's Day selling opportunities.

    "We think NCA can add value to the planning sessions by providing information on trends, new products, research, data, and other innovations," said NCA president Larry Graham in a statement. "NCA's involvement will attract the highest quality of manufacturers to the Marketplace, and ECRM brings a wealth of experience and technology. The combined efforts of both groups mean a better end result for manufacturers and retailers alike."

    At the EPPS Candy Marketplace, confectionery buyers will be able to scan products of interest, and both buyers and manufacturers can access meeting notes and information on a secured Web site. Manufacturer product data may be transferred electronically to retail custom formats, which facilitate execution of programs.
