NEW YORK - Gourmet retailer Dean & Deluca here is implementing centralized pricing and inventory management, sales and profitability reporting, and store-level applications for its six stores.
The operator is using a system from TCI Solutions for the upgrade. Already a user of TCI's Inventory Management System (IMS), Dean & Deluca is adding TCI Retail, which includes TCI’s HQ, and Category Analyzer applications. The TCI HQ application will allow Dean & Deluca to centrally manage pricing and merchandising strategies for its retail stores. Category Analyzer is TCI's sales reporting and analysis application, designed to increase visibility to critical sales and profitability information.

As part of their pricing and inventory solution upgrade, Dean & Deluca is also migrating from IMS to TCI Store for Direct Store Delivery (DSD) with wireless capabilities for receiving and price verification. The added functionality will expedite store-level receiving processes and ensure consistent price image.
