ALEXANDRIA, Va. - Responding to a "mandate" from its members, the International Fresh-Cut Produce Association is revamping its upcoming annual conference and exhibition -- Fresh-Cut Expo 2005, scheduled for April 14 to 16 in Phoenix -- as a technology- and innovation-driven showcase for the fresh-cut industry.
"We heard an important mandate from our members and the overall fresh-cut industry to create a show that is heavily focused on doing business," said IFPA president Jerry Welcome. "We listened intensely to the industry and worked hard to develop a brand-new experience in trade show events -- a truly world-class, international innovation and technology solutions showcase. Fresh-Cut Expo will be all about improving business operations, solving the biggest headaches, and bringing new and innovative technology, product,s and services that will help our industry increase efficiency and grow profits."
