CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. - Constellation Wines U.S. here has named Marc Donati to the position of v.p., National Accounts - Off-premise, for Constellation Wines U.S.
In his new role Donati will be part of the company's Channel Management sales group, representing all of the Constellation Wines U.S. brands to major national retail accounts. Donati will report to Abbott Wolfe, s. v.p. of Channel Management for Constellation Wines U.S., and will work closely with Joe Castrilli, v.p., National Accounts - Off-premise; John Heinz, v.p., National Accounts - On-premise; Doug Kahle, v.p., International; and Rick Oberhofer, v.p., Category Management and Business Information, all of whom have leadership roles on the Constellation Wines U.S. Channel Management team.
"Marc Donati will provide great leadership and insight in his role as a vice president on our national accounts off-premise sales team," said Wolfe. "This means greater opportunity for the consumer who purchases wine at major chain stores and expects exceptional value, quality, and competitive pricing. Marc will be dedicated to achieving results that will build wine sales for our network of major national retail accounts, while serving their customers' needs."
Prior to joining Constellation Wines U.S., Donati spent 18 years with E&J Gallo, where he was managing director of National Chains. Prior to that he helped Gallo expand its international business, including the opening of Gallo Italia as a European subsidiary. He also helped Gallo build distributor networks in Spain, Greece, Turkey, Israel, and Lebanon.
