COLTON, Calif. - Stater Bros. Markets debuts its newest and most modern full-service supermarket today at Hidden Valley Plaza with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 9:00 a.m.
The store -- Stater Bros.' 43rd in Riverside County and the company's 159th overall -- covers 43,861 square feet and includes full-service meat and seafood departments, as well as a full-service deli that offers a complete selection of salads, premium deli meats, a wide variety of domestic and imported cheeses, sandwiches to go, party trays, hot lunches and dinners, and the retailer's famous Golden Fried Chicken.
The store will also feature a hot bakery featuring daily fresh-baked artisan breads, cookies, rolls, desserts, and custom-made cakes for all occasions, including picture cakes, an expanded "Garden Fresh" produce department with over 500 items, and Krispy Kreme Doughnuts delivered fresh every day.
"The Stater Bros. family of employees is especially proud to open this new and modern Stater Bros. Supermarket to better serve our valued customers in the communities of Corona and Norco," said Jack H. Brown, chairman of the board, president, and c.e.o. of Stater Bros.
In celebration of the grand opening, Stater Bros. will make donations to the Corona Police Department for the Crime Prevention Program, to the Corona Public Library for the Children's Book Program, to the Corona Regional Medical Foundation for the Children's Center, and to the Auburndale Middle School Band, who will also perform at the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Indeed, community involvement is at the heart of the new store, and community programs include the Stater Bros. Hometown Community Card Fundraising Program, the Food For All Anti-Hunger Program, and the Upromise College Savings Program. The store is also a designated "safe place" for youth who may be in a crisis situation
