WOBURN, Mass. - Retail Expert, Inc., a leading provider of loss prevention exception reporting and performance management technology, announced today that Chandler, Ariz.-based Bashas' Supermarkets has selected NaviStor as its corporate exception reporting solution.
Also included in Bashas' purchase is NaviCase, Retail Expert's incident-tracking and case management application. NaviCase will effectively manage Bashas' internal and external fraud and liability cases. Retail Expert will also integrate Bashas' existing digital CCTV store technology into the solution, providing a robust loss prevention tool to reduce shrink and increase profits. This seamless, integrated approach developed by Retail Expert will provide Bashas' with a highly effective loss prevention management solution.
Retail Expert Inc.'s software product, NaviStor manages key performance indicators for the retail enterprise with a focus on reducing shortages and improving operational performance. Key features include exception reporting, scorecarding, data mining, and automated alerts.
NaviStor targets fraudulent activity and identifies when company policies and procedures are not being followed. In addition, NaviStor detects when an associate needs additional training. NaviCase will provide Bashas' with a tool to compile and organize the data identified by NaviStor, as well as external incidents uncovered by store and field personnel.
