TUCSON, Ariz. - TCI Solutions Inc., a provider of enterprise software for grocery chains, announced that Hiller's has installed TCI HQ in its corporate headquarters to enhance e-business interactions with its vendor community. It will serve as the foundation enterprise for data management, pricing and hosting requirements for the Detroit-based retailer.
Hiller's Markets, founded in 1941, is known for its wide selection of unique gourmet, imported and specialty food items including kosher, organic and ethnic. Family-owned Hiller's joins more than 30 other retail chains already reaping the benefits of TCI Retail.
"Using a central data repository and rules-based application has helped our chain to simplify business processes and reduce data redundancies or inaccuracies to better manage our item prices and costs," said Eva Shapiro, chief financial officer, Hiller's Markets. "TCI's solution allows us to quickly enact new pricing programs to help better serve our customers."
