WASHINGTON - The United Food and Commercial Workers International Union (UFCW) has released a video targeting Wal-Mart's alleged "union busting" practices as part of a campaign to ignite pro-union grass-roots efforts across America.
The video, "Wal-Mart's War On Workers," features managers telling their stories of Wal-Mart's anti-union practices, according to the UFCW. Included are segments showing supervisory personnel profiling and identifying potential union supporters and hiding union busting manuals from workers. According to the UFCW, every Wal-Mart store manager has a hotline number to report any union activity, real or imagined, immediately to the "People Department" in Bentonville.
The UFCW is featuring video in its entirety on its web site, www.UFCW.org.
