    Unified Western Grocers Selects viaLink's Data Synchronization Service

    ``Data synchronization can help UWG streamline the communication of product, price and promotional information with its trading partners,'' said Phil Smith, senior
    vice president of Procurement, at Unified Western Grocers. ``Synchronized data improves operational efficiency by reducing transactional mismatches and invoice
    deductions and is a foundation for a successful e-commerce strategy.''
