For the fifth straight year, Harris Teeter VIC (Very Important Customer) cardholders will receive exclusive savings on northeast Florida’s Amelia Island through a partnership between the Amelia Island Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) and Harris Teeter. Through Dec. 31, VIC cardholders can save at 25 of the resort island’s businesses, including accommodations, restaurants, activities and shopping.
“Our five-year partnership has proven to be a great benefit for both Amelia Island and Harris Teeter,” said Gil Langley, president of the Amelia Island CVB, noting that several businesses were offering special discounts under the program for the first time this year.
Have a Nice Trip
Each year, the partnership, which began in January 2010, has provided special deals for Harris Teeter VIC cardholders, in addition to a three-month-long travel sweepstakes that culminates in one e-VIC subscriber winning a trip to Amelia Island.
The discounted deals are available only to shoppers who present their VIC cards at checkout. In the case of accommodation and activity discounts, customers must mention the Harris Teeter deal when making reservations.
