Food Marketing Institute (FMI) has teamed up with Washington, D.C.-based design and marketing firm Matrix Group to develop a new animated video as part of the trade association’s “Supermarket Facts Video Series,” which launched late last year.
Supermarkets are hiring an increasing number of registered dietitians in an effort to accommodate consumers’ growing concern with healthy food choices. To that end, the video uses infographics and animation to illustrate how supermarkets are supporting shoppers’ health and wellness strategies in this way.
Arlington, Va.-based FMI’s U.S. members operate nearly 40,000 retail food stores and 25,000 pharmacies, representing a combined annual sales volume of almost $770 billion.
