A new supermarket concept – Fresh City Market – is coming to West Lafayette, Ind.

Orlando, Fla.-based Cuhaci & Peterson Architects Engineers Planners has completed the design of the new 22,000-square-foot, fresh-focused market, which will also feature traditional fill-in groceries and an ample fresh produce section.

The new store will be the anchor tenant in the Northwestern building, which will be part of a new multi-use development called Fuse Purdue with student housing and retail on Purdue University’s campus.

The new Fresh City Market will feature a Caribou Coffee Shop and in-store seating for ready-to-eat hot foods from the deli bar.

Construction is expected to be completed in August 2014.
