PG Relocates 2014 Retail Dietitian Symposium

Hyatt Regency O'Hare to accommodate growing participation

By Kyle Shamorian, Stagnito Business Information

To accommodate growing interest and participation, Progressive Grocer has relocated its second annual Retail Dietitian Symposium from the Chicago Marriott O'Hare in Rosemont, Ill., to a larger location at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare, also in Rosemont.

Scheduled for June 9-10, 2014, the invitation-only, one-day event is designed specifically for the most active retail dietitians in the grocery retail industry. The symposium presents exclusive research and Continuing Education Credits for maximizing the effectiveness of today’s retail dietitian.

“The industry response to the Progressive Grocer Retail Dietitian Symposium exceeded our wildest expectations, nearly doubling the size of last year’s event,” says Jeff Friedman, VP and group brand director, Stagnito Business Information. "As a result of this unprecedented level of support, the 2014 event is moving to larger space at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare."

In an effort to make the relocation as seamless as possible, any reserved travel arrangements will not be impacted; the only difference is that attendees will be taken by the Hyatt Regency O’Hare’s shuttle bus upon arrival at Chicago’s O’Hare airport.

Additionally, the new $179 special conference hotel room rate per night is more affordable than last year's event, but attendees must make reservations by May 26 in order to earn the reduced rate.

The team at Stagnito Business Information is working to assist sponsors, speakers and attendees with transferring hotel reservations.
