    Shaw's Selects Promoworks for In-store Engagement

    Sampling, demos will gain professional edge

    Albertsons' New England-based subsidiary, Shaw’s and Star Market, has selected PromoWorks, a division of Crossmark, as its exclusive partner for creating and executing in-store sampling and demonstration programs.

    Shaw’s and Star Market will utilize Itasca, Ill.-based PromoWorks to transform its in-store demonstration experience with better targeting, measurement and evaluation.

    PromoWorks' GM Julie Beck said Shaw’s and Star Market chose PromoWorks because of its experience and success in the in-store engagement arena. “We have a track record of innovation, driving sales, and satisfying shoppers,” said Beck, whose team is looking forward to a productive partnership with Shaw’s and Star Market.

    With 155 stores throughout five New England states, Shaw's and Star Market are wholly owned subsidiaries of the Boise, Idaho–based Albertsons.
