The Hunter Hot Dogs brand has teamed up with St. Louis-area retailers to offer Cardinals fans the chance to win a "Big Dog for a Day" fan experience.
As the official hot dog of the 11-time World Series champion team, Hunter is enabling fans to visit Schnucks, Shop & Save and Dierbergs through Sept. 1 to pick up an entry form.
Twenty-four winners will be selected to win the ultimate fan experience at Busch Stadium for six evening games on July 10, July 23, Aug. 5, Aug. 14, Aug. 18 and Sept. 16.
"Baseball fans are passionate about their favorite sport, especially the St. Louis Cardinals fans," said Charles Gitkin, VP, marketing, innovation and R&D for the John Morrell Food Group. "For 40 years, Hunter has held the title of official hot dog of the Cardinals. We are honored to have this great partnership with this storied organization and wanted to take the opportunity to say thanks and to give back to all of the loyal fans."
The prize package includes a tour of the dugout and press box and the chance to take part in the pre-game festivities by throwing out a ceremonial first pitch. Each winner also will receive four field box seats and four passes to the Champions Club.
