    Angie's Boom Tour Hits the Road

    Eight-week program to promote better-for-you snacks

    Angie’s Boomchickapop, the Mankato, Minn.-based natural popcorn brand, is hitting the road for an eight-week Boom Tour designed to promote better-for-you snacks.

    Beginning in Chicago, the Boomchickapop van, dubbed ShaBOOM, will visit parks, community events and retailers in cities throughout the northeast.

    Consumers can follow the route at www.TheBoomTour.com, as well as enter the Boom Tour Sweepstakes on the Angie’s Facebook page for a chance to win prizes.

    “We’ve got the van gassed up and ready to go on this crazy, wild ride,” said Bruce Tanoff, the Boom Tour’s official road manager. “Our goal is to meet our awesome fans face-to-face, and get our great snacks in the hands of some new fans. Let’s get this show on the road!”

    The Boom Tour supports Angie's  two recently introduced flavors -- Salted Caramel and Sweet & Spicy – which adds to the brand's current lineup of Sweet & Salty Kettle Corn, Sea Salt, Lightly Sweet, White Cheddar, and Caramel & Cheddar Popcorn Mix.
