Cloud-based software company Park City Group has completed a test with a large retailer and several suppliers, using the company's services in a high-traffic category.
Suppliers participating in the test-- which was conducted in a key fresh category with rapid inventory turnover – experienced sales increases trending up to 7 percent for the retailer's private label products, and 50 percent in waste reduction.
According to Park City Group, results from the test yielded significant improvement in product turns providing fresher product for the consumer. Suppliers also saw operational savings from reduced “emergency deliveries.”
